Priti Nemani talks to Ria Chakrabarty of Hindus for Human Rights, Mannirmal Kaur of the Sikh Coalition, and Mahtab Javed Siddiqui of the South Asian Network about their reflections on the 25th anniversary of 9/11 as millennial South Asian community leaders.

Mahtab is a queer Muslim trauma therapist and offers trauma-informed and culturally attuned therapy through a liberatory and anti-oppressive lens as well as healing spaces for individuals seeking a safe space devoid of judgment and shame.

Ria works on advocacy efforts in collaboration with government actors with a lens toward understanding the effects of US foreign policy on communities worldwide. Since taping this episode, Ria has changed roles and is now the Executive Director for Hindus for Human Rights Action.
